For some it's the original Modern Warfare, whereas others may hail Warzone as the best advancement the series has seen yet. The original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 completed a terrific campaign, and its single-player mode was remastered in 2024 to remind fans why it was so beloved.
The new one is a reboot you can look at it as a remake because it uses the same characters and some similar elements here and there but the two aren't connected by Ant means. The new MW2 is essentially a continuation of the MW2024.
