Greg Carlin, CEO of the casino's parent company Rush Street Gaming said it was a corporate decision, to unify all their casinos under the same name. This is something we've been thinking about for quite a while. I think we are at the point in our company's history where it makes sense to have a unified brand.
SugarHouse Casino is no more. The casino isn't closing, and there's no change in ownership  it rebranded and transitioned to Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The casino unveiled its new sign on Tuesday, ousting its former SugarHouse brand identity.
