Extreme blood and gore, with a darkly comic tone. Parents need to know that V/H/S/94 is the fourth film in the V/H/S horror anthology series. Filled with innovative and ambitious stories, it may be the best one yet, but extreme gore and strong language make it best for mature horror hounds.
If you're content with the picture quality, there's no need to throw them out and re-buy them on DVD just because they are an 'obsolete' format. It was good enough during the '80s and '90s. Keep using the tapes until they wear out, then replace them with an up-to-date format. Many VHS tapes I buy don't work.
