The Poker Masters is underway on partypoker with five events of a jam-packed 馃Ь 30 event schedule already completed. In total almostR$5 million in prize money has been won by some of the biggest 馃Ь names on the High Roller scene, with several players already putting themselves into contention to win the coveted purple jacket 馃Ь and theR$50,000 that comes with it.
Elias Talvitie Wins Poker Masters Event #1 forR$481,250
The first of sevenR$25,500 buy-in tournaments on the 馃Ь Poker Masters schedule attracted 55 players this past Sunday with several big names in attendance. They included Kahle Burns, Dan 馃Ь Smith, Justin Bonomo, Steve O'Dwyer, Fedor Holz, Laszlo Bujtas and David Peters to name but a few.
Just seven places were 馃Ь paid, with Canada's Timothy Adams falling just short of the money. In the end it was Finland's Elias Talvitie who 馃Ь secured victory in the first event of the festival, defeating Sergi Reixach heads-up forR$481,250.
